The Spotty McSpotlight

Ditchin' paper & makin' sure everyone's actually payin' attention? Enter Stage Monitor Mode — where your iPad or iPhone becomes the conductor's baton for an entire band. It's like givin' each musician their own tiny virtual music stand, except way cooler & way less likely to blow over mid-show.

Das Verbindungs-Thingy

Grab a wired adapter to plug into your screens, or go wireless like a boss with AppleTV & AirPlay. Then throw some standard video splitters at it if you wanna go full stadium mode with multiple screens. Boom. You're basically a tech genius now.

Heads up: OnSong's all "use wired adapters or the radio waves'll mess you up in a real gig." If you're goin' multi-screen, don't cheap out on HDMI stuff & powered splitters — your future self will thank you.

The Laundry List of Stuff You Gotta Buy

Here's what our peeps threw together for the tutorial vid. Budget roughly $250–$300 per station (bigger screens = bigger $$$ obvs). Pro tip: one monitor can serve multiple musicians, so y'all can share. How nice.

Die Confidence-Projektor-Situation

Got a fancy projector hidin' in the back? Totes project chord charts so everyone on stage can actually read 'em. Most projectors are locked landscape & stuck way up there, so you might wanna show one song at a time to make it actually legible. Just go to Einstellungen » Live-Einstellungen » Externes Video » Bühnenmonitor.
