Scroll Like You're Not Even Tryin'

The bleepin' autoscroll live bar button is your on/off switch for autoscroll—you know, that thing that scrolls through your song so you don't have to use your thumbs like a caveman. Pick linear (boring but predictable) or non-linear (chaotic but fun) autoscrollin' to match your vibe.

Tap the autoscroll button the first time & boom—Autoscroll Hamburger pops up. Use it to set how long you want linear autoscroll to take, or record timeline events if you're feelin' fancy with the non-linear stuff.

Flip Autoscroll On & Off

After you've set it up, tap autoscroll to start the magic scrollin'. Tap again while it's runnin' & it stops. Wanna keep goin'? Tap one more time. Long-press that button to open the Autoscroll Hamburger & tweak your settings like the power user you're pretendin' to be.

Linear Autoscroll (aka The Boring Option)

So you picked a duration & stayed put—cool. OnSong will yeet your page from top to bottom over that time span. While autoscroll is doin' its thing, you can still manually scroll around. Autoscroll gets jealous & pauses, then picks back up from wherever you dragged it. Zoom your chord chart & same deal—it chills out & recalibrates.

Here's the thing tho: autoscroll only scrolls down, so if your song's got key changes, tempo shifts, or repeats, it's gonna be mad confused. Pair it with Flow to line up your song in one continuous piece so autoscroll doesn't have a meltdown.

Non-Linear Autoscroll (aka The "I Recorded Timeline Events" Flex)

Record events in timeline mode & OnSong will play 'em back over whatever duration you set. Change the duration later? Cool—the playback adjusts automatically. It's like magic, except our developers actually coded it.

Keep scrollin' & pokin' around all you want—timeline events keep rollin' regardless.

Note: If you haven't assigned a duration or timeline yet, this button looks all sad & faded. Once you set stuff up, it gets all bright & prominent like the capable human you (hopefully) are. Tap the sad button & it opens the Autoscroll Hamburger.
