Plot Twists (We Changed Stuff)

ZOMG, there's like a bazillion ways to butcher the same song, & honestly? That totally depends on which band you're in & what season it is. (Deep stuff, amirite?) The OnSong® app is basically a miracle worker for keeping your chaos organized, & you can toss in Attachments with all your weird performance files. But NOW? Plot twist — you can make different versions of those files, each one packed with bonus junk like your doodles, margin notes, backing tracks, fancy formatting, & all that musicality nonsense.

So you wanna use Versions? It's literally baby-level easy. Bounce into the Attachments Thingamajig from the Menubar & scope out all the alternate dimensions of your song. Just tap & hold on a file (groundbreaking, we know) to pop open the Context Menu & smash "Create Version". OnSong® will beg you to name it. Skip that? Cool, it'll just call it Version 1, Version 2, whatever. Then go wild — draw, scribble, mess with chords, transpose, add a capo, the works. All that stuff sticks to that version, so you can bail back to the original whenever you realize you messed up.

Oh, & if you're rockin' a text-based chord chart? You can also clone the text like it's a bleepin' sheep. Tap & hold, open the Context Menu, pick "Duplicate". You'll get asked to name it (or let OnSong® name it like a lazy parent). Then edit that version's text till it's totally different from the original, & OnSong® won't care. That's the whole point, baby.
