Yoinkin' It Into iTunes

iTunes is this ridiculously powerful media management program that Apple literally just gives you for free (spoiler: there's always a catch). It's basically your digital jukebox & device babysitter all rolled into one. Use it to browse, buy, & hoard music from the iTunes Store, or just let it sit there judging your music taste.

So you wanna add tracks as Backing Tracks in OnSong? Plot twist: they gotta live in iTunes first. Get 'em there by syncing to your device, using iTunes in the Cloud (it's literally just the internet, y'all), or iTunes Music Match (because apparently one cloud wasn't enough).

Here's the thrilling process: find your tracks on your computer, grab 'em in Finder (Mac OS X) or File Explorer (Windows), & yeet 'em into iTunes' library area. Riveting stuff. Or—gasp—you can open the File menu & pick Add To Library... like some kinda fancy person. Browse around, click what you want. Revolutionary.

iTunes will probably just steal these files, copy 'em into its own library, & auto-organize everything based on whatever metadata is hiding in the audio file. It's weirdly controlling like that. Wanna dial it back? Pop into iTunes Preferences, hit the Advanced tab, & pretend you understand what you're doing.
